The AQUA+ Project is powered by a strong partnership of organizations dedicated to advancing sustainable agriculture through aquaponics & vertical farming.




  • Fjölbrautaskóli Norðurlands vestra (Iceland)

    • A dynamic upper secondary school in Northwest Iceland that emphasizes hands-on learning and vocational education. The school brings expertise in agricultural education and provides a platform for engaging students in sustainable farming practices through practical training and innovation.


  • Ísponica ehf. (Iceland)

    • Ísponica is a small Icelandic company focused on sustainable food production using aquaponics, hydroponics, and circular design. With roots in Hólar University and a strong link to regional development, Ísponica contributes real-world application, system design, and entrepreneurial experience to the project.


  • Mykonos International Initiative (Greece)

    • An organization based in Greece that promotes education, culture, and sustainable development through international collaboration. MII supports innovative environmental and social projects and brings expertise in outreach, community engagement, and European partnerships.


  • Walter Gropius Schule (Germany)

    • A vocational and technical school in Germany with strong programs in environmental science, technology, and design. The school is actively involved in European projects and contributes valuable experience in integrating sustainable practices into technical education.
